Reporting: Crystal Reports, Microsoft Excel and More
JIWA Financials is supplied with more than 300 standard reports and stationary layouts (such as invoices and purchase orders), all built using the worldwide standard in business reporting - Crystal Reports. It also comes with a Crystal Reports runtime licence, so you are able to print these reports directly from within JIWA Financials.
As a Microsoft-based product, we've also made room for Microsoft Excel users. JIWA Financials enables the use of Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables to analyse data contained in JIWA Financials, without having to experience traditional spreadsheet limitations such as slow processing speeds, especially when dealing with large amounts of data, and data capacity. The new MS Excel 2010 has the capability to hold more than 1 million rows of data.
JIWA Financials overcomes these problems by using Microsoft SQL Server, a powerful facility that is extremely easy to use, particularly when dealing with ad-hoc reporting. Information in areas such as debtor balances, general ledger, sales or stock on hand may be quickly and easily dragged-and-dropped to obtain the required information.

Information within these Microsoft Excel Pivot tables may be viewed by day, month, quarter, year or over a number of periods. It can also be easily presented colourfully and graphically to highlight data or to enhance reader comprehension.
The third aspect to JIWA Financials' reporting is our Open Database Compliance which is achieved due to the use of Microsoft SQL Server. This means that in addition to using the above reporting methods, a plethora of other tools may be used including Microsoft Word for direct mail merges, Microsoft Access for ad hoc database queries, or any of the numerous report writers now available on the market.
